People are hearing that our real estate market in the Grand Valley is doing really well, and the answer is yes, it is. The question though is why? Are we seeing a huge influx of jobs here? Are people moving to the area? Not so much, but I’ve had multiple clients from other states – even from the Denver area, because people can get a house cheaper here. Much of it is related to people either wanting to upsize or downsize. People that are wanting to move around within the area. For so long, our houses were under water here value wise and people are finally at a point where they can maybe break even by selling it or get ahead – making it a good time to move.
